Job summary

College of DuPage Continuing Education Youth Academy seeks adjunct instructors to teach ACT/SAT test prep and tutoring for high school students. The role includes face-to-face teaching at the Glen Ellyn campus, Westmont, and Naperville Center, with some online options. Compensation is hourly, with stipends for course assignments and a required background check.

Preference for availability across all campuses. Ideal candidates have ACT/SAT prep experience and at least two years of HS teaching.

Qualifications

• ACT and/or SAT test prep experience is required.
• Minimum two years' experience teaching high school students is preferred.
• Face-to-face on main campus in Glen Ellyn, IL, Westmont and Naperville Center; some online options available.
• Positions paid by stipends for course assignments.
• Pre-employment background check required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct ACT/SAT test prep courses and private tutoring.
• Plan and deliver lessons across diverse delivery modes (in-person, online, hybrid).
• Evaluate students and submit required paperwork promptly.
