Job summary

Terros Health seeks an ACT Peer Support Specialist for our 23rd Ave Recovery Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role emphasizes direct treatment and advocacy within an ACT team, leveraging lived experience to support clients.

The position is full-time, 80% in the field and 20% in the facility, with a schedule including weekends and holidays. Certification helps; bilingual Spanish is a plus and differential pay applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health preferred (not required).
• State Peer Support Certification required; we can help you obtain this upon hire.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (additional language differential pay).
• Must have flexible schedule; team serves 7 days a week including weekends/holidays.
• 80% field, 20% in the facility; full-time employed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct treatment, rehabilitative and supportive services in a community setting to ACT team clients.
• Work as part of an ACT clinical team to assess needs and develop service plans; act as advocate and liaison.
• Serve as the team's lead client advocate and mentor.
• Be a self-disclosed mental health member and provide client perspective of services.
• Be a liaison between multiple parties and communities.
