Job summary

Terros Health seeks an ACT Peer Support Specialist for the 23rd Ave Recovery Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on direct treatment, advocacy, and coordination with the ACT team to support clients in the community and in the clinic.

80% field-based work and 20% in the facility, with 7 days a week coverage, including weekends and holidays. A Peer Support Certification is required and a driver’s license is mandatory; bilingual abilities are a plus and receive differential pay.

Qualifications

  • GED/High school diploma or higher with 3 years of behavioral health experience
  • Associate/Bachelor/Master degree in behavioral health or related field
  • Peer Support Certification required
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license and 4 years driving experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct treatment, rehabilitative and supportive services in community and facility settings
  • Coordinate with ACT clinical team to assess client needs and develop service plans
  • Advocate for clients and liaise with families and community agencies
  • Support weekend and holiday coverage as required
