Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a Community Support Specialist to assist adults in a community-based mental health rehabilitative program based on the Recovery Model.

You will deliver rehabilitative services, coaching on daily living skills, and help clients set goals toward recovery while maintaining up-to-date documentation in Credible and participating in ACT Team Morning Rounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
• Familiarity with mental health services in the Washington DC area.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Support clients with daily living skills and community linkages.
• Develop and update Individual Recovery Plans (IRP) and Crisis Plans (CP).
• Record services accurately in Credible on the same day.
• Attend ACT Team Morning Rounds meetings.
