Article Student Living in Chicago invites you to join our 2027 Real Estate Investment Internship for Summer 2027. You will report to the Head of Strategy and support Article's Investments team, gaining hands-on experience in real estate acquisitions, development, and financial modeling.

This 10-week program runs June 7 to August 12, 2027. You will work on-site 4 to 5 days a week and participate in events such as lunch-and-learns, trainings, and an end-of-internship project presentation.

Article Student Living is excited to invite you to our 2027 internship program! We are recruiting a Real Estate Investment Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. You will report to the Head of Strategy and support Article's Investments team. We are looking for a high-achieving and enthusiastic student pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate, or a related field, looking for meaningful experience learning the ins and outs of real estate acquisitions and development.

This 10-week internship program will run from June 7th to August 12th, 2027.

Events throughout the program, such as lunch-and-learns, systems training, and an end-of-internship project presentation, are planned.

Compensation for this internship is $25/hour.

You will work on-site at our Chicago, IL, office 4 to 5 days a week.

Your Mission:

• Gain exposure to detailed financial modeling for acquisitions and developments
• Help with local market research and the analytics of data and trends across major university markets
• Help prepare investment presentations and packages for senior executives, investors, lenders, partners, and others
• Work with the investments team on cash flow waterfalls and sensitivity analyses

Your Track Record:

• Pursuing a degree in finance, economics, real estate, or a similar field from an undergraduate school
• Demonstrated interest in real estate investment and development
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint
