Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytically rigorous real estate role, preference for relevant market knowledge.
• Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Collaborative nature and ability to build cross-team relationships.
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
• Conscientious attention to detail; ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Generate, screen and assess investment ideas and themes for Bay Area and Seattle markets.
• Lead or support all investment activity from origination to execution: source, underwrite, structure deals.
• Conduct due diligence—commercial, legal and financial; perform valuation and risk analyses.
• Negotiate terms and optimize deal structures with partners.
• Develop business plans and exit strategies with asset management teams.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain relationships with lenders, brokers, developers, and investors.
