Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. seeks an Acquisitions Analyst III to research and analyze potential targets and evaluate financial performance and strategic fit. The role requires independent work on complex technical and business matters.

The position supports DoD and federal programs, using Tableau and data platforms to deliver insights and reports for SSP/DCMA/DFAS data calls. A related bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• DAWIA Level I or equivalent in contracting, program management, or finance preferred.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and DFARS/NMCARS knowledge is a plus, contract closeout processes, PIEE applications, EDA data module, and data analytics.
• Technical skills in Tableau, Advana/War Data Platform, MS Office, Navy ePS or similar contract writing system, Adobe Professional.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract closeout metrics and reporting to improve performance.
• Manually close old contracts and assist with closeout preparation.
• Train government staff on closeout processes and requirements.
• Create and update standard and ad-hoc reports for SSP, DCMA, DFAS, SECNAV, ASN(RDA), DASN(P), Congress, and OSW data calls.
• Provide administrative support for reporting and audits (IV&V, NMCARS, IPMAP).
• Maintain a master schedule of all reporting and audit deliverables and consolidate inputs from SSP staff.

The Acquisitions Analyst III is responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate their financial performance and strategic fit. Works independently as a specialist on complex technical and business matters.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Analyze contract closeout metrics and canceling funds reports to identify areas to improve reporting and performance across the Command.
• Manually close old contracts that are ready for closeout and assist with preparing contracts for closeout.
• Train government staff on closeout processes and requirements.
• Create and update standard and ad-hoc reports to meet Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN(RDA)), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Procurement) (DASN(P)), Congressional, and Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) data calls and reporting needs.
• Provide administrative support (i.e., records management) for reporting and audits, including Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS) Reporting, Internal Procurement Management Assessment Program (IPMAP) audits, and other ad hoc SSP local audits.
• Maintain a master schedule of all reporting and audit deliverables (weekly/bi-weekly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) and request, review, and consolidate accurate, verifiable inputs from SSP staff.

Policy Journeyman Skills

• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) (NMCARS knowledge is a plus), contract closeout processes, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) applications, the Electronic Data Access (EDA) module, and data analytics.
• Technical skills such as Tableau, Advana/War Data Platform, MS Office, Navy Electronic Procurement System (ePS) (or similar contract writing system), Adobe Professional, etc.
• Critical thinking, oral and written communication, customer service, problem-solving, business acumen, understanding industry, creativity and innovation, teambuilding, and accountability.

Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Job-related Experience

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Department of War (DoW) contract specialist (1102 job series) within the previous 10 years

The estimated pay range for this role is $107400 to $110,000, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
