McDonald Mazda North in Longmont, CO is hiring an Acquisition Specialist. The role focuses on documenting vehicle descriptions, photographing inventory, and supporting the sales process with accurate vehicle information.

The position requires a solid understanding of cars, strong writing skills, and the ability to work in a team with attention to detail. Evening and Saturday hours are required; a valid driver's license is needed.

Some of our most successful candidates in the past have had experience as automotive sales or service assistants. The keys to success in this opportunity are:

• A solid understanding of cars (makes, models, and general mechanical terms and meaning)
• Solid automotive mechanical aptitude and formal technical experience is helpful but not required. The ability to perform light-duty work on your own vehicle or hobby/project car work is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and handle bursts of activity.
• Attention to detail and ability to work at a computer for most of the day.
• Great sense of teamwork and desire to go above and beyond to help the team reach collective goals.
• Above-average writing and grammar—this position is responsible for writing our personalized vehicle descriptions.
• Working knowledge of the automotive sales industry—even though you won’t be selling cars, this position is integral to the sales process, and you must understand how it works.
• Take pictures of every car to upload on our website and properly maintain inventory.

Qualifications

• Full Time
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license and clean MVR to pass insurance requirements.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
