Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Position Summary / Objective:

KMS Solutions, LLC seeks a motivated Acquisition Program Analyst to support the U.S. Navy at the Washington Navy Yard, focusing on undersea warfare systems, including countermeasures for Navy's NGCM program.

Essential functions:
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions on program status and goals.
  • Participate in meetings, briefings, and interface with program stakeholders.
  • Research acquisition topics and documentation per DoD standards.
  • Evaluate project schedules, procurement profiles, and brief clients.
  • Assist with business process implementation and program documentation.
Required education and experience:
  • Five (5) years in DoD product, project, or program management.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition processes.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience briefing senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of DoD contracts, appropriations, and budgeting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
Preferred education and experience:
  • Ten (10) years in DoD management.
  • Navy weapons or countermeasures experience.
  • Active Navy or support experience preferred.
Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Reliability and initiative.
Additional Requirements:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Work in a professional office environment.

  • Full-time hours with some flexibility and travel up to 20%.
