Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks a seasoned program/contracting professional to support NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) and PMS425 programs in Washington, DC.

The role requires DoD acquisition experience, leadership interfacing with end-item customers, and the ability to maintain a SECRET clearance. A Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field is required, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years contracting and acquisition experience for DoD/DoW/DoN programs.
• 10+ years engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs experience.
• Degree required: Bachelor's in business or technical field.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Job Description: * Provide support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Submarine PEO UWS (SWFTS) Program Offices and supporting organizations: PMS 401 - Submarine Acoustic Systems, PMS 425 - Combat and Weapons Control, PMS 435 - Submarine Electromagnetic Systems, SUB-S, 07TR - Submarine Trainer Readiness, and Cybersecurity.

• TEAM SUB is a combination of Program Executive Office (PEO) Strategic Submarine (PEO SSBN), PEO Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), and PEO Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS) and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration & Acquisition Office (AUKUS). The TEAM SUB concept divides the single submarine-centric organization into specific PEOs with the goal of enhancing the structures and processes in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities.
• This position is located in the PMS425 Program Office. Required Experience and Skills: * 5 or more years of contracting and acquisition experience for DoD/DoW/DoN programs.
• 10 or more years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field.
• 10 or more years of experience with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs.
• Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer. Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business or technical field. * Must be a U.S. citizen
• A secret security clearance
