Hiring Salary Range:

$87,000- $170,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced Acquisition Management Support Analyst II to support the Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO Submarines), to provide analytical, research, and reporting services.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

The Acquisition Management Support Analyst II will provide overall program management oversight to execute the task order; manage all tasks across all areas of technical performance, schedule, quality and cost; assemble monthly financial reports; prepare and track spend plans; and interact with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). You are able to work independently and bring excellent oral and written communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
  • 7+ or more years of experience in engineering/science project management, operations research analysis, DoD Acquisition or a relevant field.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite 365.
  • Able to efficiently use the latest reporting, analysis, and communication technology.
  • Knowledge of Acquisition Regulations: Understanding the FAR and other relevant regulations.
  • Contract Management Skills: Ability to manage contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance.
  • Financial Management Skills: Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience with Navy / DoD Acquisition Framework, DOD Acquisition Requirements, modern government contracting/sourcing strategies and methodologies (Other Transaction Agreements, Small Business Innovative Research, etc.), DOD Acquisition Program Startup and/or In-Service Programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects simultaneously, interfacing with end item customers, and maintaining project end state deliverables, schedules, and milestones.
