Job summary

Systems Technology Forum LTD (STF) is seeking an experienced acquisition professional to support a US Navy Program office. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and maintaining acquisition documentation, tracking program metrics, and ensuring compliance with DoD processes.

Telework is not supported, and travel is not required. The ideal candidate has seven or more years in the acquisition field, a Bachelor’s degree, and DAWIA is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in acquisition processes.
• Strong understanding of Navy acquisition documentation and DoD policies.
• Ability to monitor program metrics and risk factors.

Responsibilities

• Develops, tracks, and maintains all project related acquisition documentation (ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, ASs, APBs, ADMs, PDDs, AoAs, SARs, DAESs).
• Monitors APB thresholds and notifies Government when cost/schedule parameters approach thresholds.
• Assesses regulatory requirements and impacts on programs and projects.
• Updates and manages acquisition resources (tools and websites).
• Prepares, updates, and monitors acquisition-related metrics.

Job Summary

Supports a US Navy Program office and prepare, review, and support test plans, test readiness review briefings, and test events. Prepares, tracks, and maintains project specific acquisition documentation. Possesses a strong understanding of Navy C4I modernization, acquisition documentation, advanced planning, installation execution, configuration management, systems fielding, or Fleet readiness processes.

Telework is not supported. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develops, tracks, and maintains all project related acquisition documentation to include: Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), Acquisition Strategies (ASs), Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Acquisition Decision Memorandums (ADMs), Project Definition Documents (PDDs), and Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) and acquisition reports (e.g., Probability of Program Success (PoPS), Selected Acquisition Reports (SARs), and Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAESs)).
• Monitors APB threshold and objective parameters (i.e., cost and schedule) and provide timely notifications to the Government when parameters approach or exceed thresholds.
• Assess statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements related to acquisition and identify associated impacts or risks on programs and projects.
• Updates, maintains, and manages acquisition resources (e.g., tools and websites)
• Prepares, updates, and monitors acquisition-related metrics.

Salary

The minimum salary starts at $90,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience.
