Booz Allen seeks an Acquisition Analyst to bridge the client’s procurement office and mission programs. You will research, analyze, and summarize procurement activities across multiple contracts, highlighting upcoming actions for leadership and coordinating messaging with responsible teams.

You will review procurement documents, track milestones, and support weekly and monthly reporting for quality and consistency. SharePoint records and data calls are part of the daily workflow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting government acquisitions and contracts.
• Ability to summarize legal language in contract documents for non-legal audiences.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Acquisition Analyst The Opportunity: As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients’ missions. Bring your passion to provide client leadership with insights into their largest contracts and procurements. Be part of America’s most inspiring mission. As an Acquisition Analyst at Booz Allen, you’ll be a bridge between the client’s office of procurement and the mission program. You will research, analyze, and assess key information about procurement activities on nearly two dozen contracts. You will highlight upcoming activity on those contracts for mission leadership and coordinate messaging with those responsible for the information. You’ll review documentation regarding procurement activity and summarize it for senior leaders. You’ll track dates that are slipping and assess how those slips might affect eventual awards or related procurement activities. You'll provide overall acquisition process expertise and support to the clients, including identifying key procurement activity requiring leadership attention and decision, writing email memos for leadership, and reviewing weekly and monthly reporting for quality, completeness, and consistency. You will facilitate the routing of acquisition documents and track and report the stakeholder review and signature process within the immediate client organization. You’ll maintain SharePoint record management for the information we track, provide quick turn-around research and response for data calls, collaborate with government and support contractors effectively, and schedule stakeholders’ reviews and ad hoc meetings. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience supporting government acquisitions and contracts
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Ability to summarize legal language in contract documents for non-legal audiences
• Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize workload with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience supporting the DoW or NASA acquisitions
• Experience developing pre-award acquisition documentation such as acquisition strategies
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI
• Possession of excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM preferred; Master’s degree in STEM a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
