The Opportunity: As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. The Operations Analyst supports mission effectiveness by analyzing operational feedback and user needs, identifying capability gaps, and shaping clear, actionable requirements. The role works closely with operators, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical or acquisition teams to refine tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), validate requirements, and support solution development. This role is responsible for analyzing operational feedback, lessons learned, and user needs to identify capability gaps, emerging requirements, and opportunities to enhance mission effectiveness. The position develops, evaluates, and refines TTPs in collaboration with operational users, SMEs, and partner organizations. It translates operational challenges into clear, traceable capability requirements and supports the creation of associated documentation, priorities, and recommended acquisition approaches. The role also coordinates across operational, technical, requirements, resourcing, and acquisition stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, aligned with organizational objectives, and responsive to end‑user needs. Additional responsibilities include supporting planning, experimentation, assessments, training events, and other activities that inform capability development and fielding decisions, as well as preparing briefings, reports, decision papers, and other products for leadership review.

Support planning and execution of experiments, exercises, assessments, demonstrations, and training events. Prepare leadership‑ready briefings, reports decision papers, and other staff products.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
