Job Description

TPG Real Estate’s US industrial platform, Dogwood Industrial Properties, is hiring an experienced and detail-oriented industrial real estate acquisition analyst to assist in the modeling, research, diligence, and closing of commercial investment opportunities through to the transition to operations.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be highly proactive, and possess the ability to prioritize and meet goals in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the candidate should have practical experience in underwriting and financial modeling in Excel, as well as familiarity or mastery of ARGUS.

Who You Are

• Someone with a passion and knowledge of the commercial real estate market

• 1-2 years related field experience

• Live in or be willing to relocate to the Boston area

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field

• Knowledge of real estate finance

• Strong Excel modeling skills including DCF, financial analysis, and comfort with large data sets

• Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously when needed

Main Responsibilities

• Underwrite industrial real estate investments across the United States

• Develop and maintain relationships within the commercial real estate community across multiple markets

• Collect and track property offerings, sale transactions, lease, and land comparables to support underwriting activities

• Perform financial analyses of properties, tenants, and markets including rent and sales comps

• Support management in negotiation of transactions

• Assist management in sourcing & closing of acquisition financing

• Assist the due-diligence process, including site visits, coordination with third party consultants, financial analysis, and third-party document review

• Assist closings by coordinating vendors and closing statements

• Assist the Asset Management team with property-specific business plans and general portfolio management

• Work with Asset Management to produce operating and capital budgets
