Jefferson Einstein Clinical Pastoral Education Program is seeking an experienced Clinical Pastoral Educator to oversee accreditation, supervise chaplains, and lead CPE education for residents and staff. The role requires ACPE Educator certification, a master's degree, and chaplaincy credentials with APC or equivalent.

You will coordinate curriculum, schedule, and staff development in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field is required.
ACPE Certification as an ACPE Certified Educator is required.
Certified Chaplain with APC or cognate group preferred.
Experience developing, supervising and managing an accredited CPE program is preferred.
Experience working with diverse student groups and patient populations is expected.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.

Responsibilities

Manage accreditation activities for the ACPE in the Jefferson Einstein CPE Program.
Supervise Contractor and CPE Chaplains and coordinate resident education.
Recruit, screen, interview, and orient CPE residents; oversee their teaching and evaluation.
Maintain ACPE standards and prepare for accreditation reviews (on-site and remote).
Teach and facilitate spiritual care planning and assessments for residents and patients.
Coordinate with staff chaplains to assign chaplaincy coverage and collaboration.
Assist with administrative tasks within Spiritual Care Services and CPE programs.
