Intertek is seeking an Acoustical Test Technician in York, PA for our Building & Construction team. This entry-level role involves setting up and performing acoustical tests on building products, with on-the-job training provided and strong potential for growth in testing, certification and QA services.

You will document specimens, calibrate equipment, learn test standards, and participate in internal training courses as part of a collaborative, on-site team environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED, or associate's degree.
• General construction/carpentry experience.
• Ability to use Power tools.
• Understand and communicate test procedures, specs, and results; mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use a tape measure and make accurate measurements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, crouch, bend, climb stairs and ladders.

ACOUSTICAL TEST TECHNICIAN - York, PA

What are we looking for?

The Acoustical Test Technician is responsible for setting up and performing acoustical laboratory tests (with supervision) on a variety of building products and components. This is an entry level position with on-the-job training provided.
