Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 4 year degree preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and teammates.
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams; strong communication skills.
• Comfort using computer systems to enter orders and manage sales documents.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge across drywall, insulation, acoustical products, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and understand their needs.
• Enter orders and tender cash sales using the company system.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on sales strategy.
• Overcome objections and quote prices; prepare sales orders and reports.
• Maintain customer accounts and complete sales administrative tasks.
• Keep accurate records of sales activity, pricing, and orders.
