The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care, a nationally recognized leader in emergency medical services education and training, seeks an ACLS, PALS & NRP Instructor to help healthcare professionals develop essential knowledge and skills for high-quality patient care in emergency and critical care settings.

Responsibilities include delivering classroom, skills, and simulation-based instruction to meet AHA and NRP standards, evaluating learner performance, and supporting curriculum enhancement.

Formación

• Current EMT/Paramedic/RT/RN/PA/MD certification is required.
• Bachelor’s or higher in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year ambulance or ED experience.
• Current provider certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS or NRP from AHA.
• Current AHA ACLS/PALS/NRP instructor certification (within 6 months).
• Completion of NAEMSE/NHTSA EMS educator course or related instructor training (within 6 months).
• Knowledge of clinical equipment and supplies and varied EMS scopes of practice.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities; able to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver classroom, skills, and simulation-based instruction per AHA and NRP standards.
• Facilitate learning experiences to support participant success and clinical competency.
• Ensure course objectives, certification requirements, and educational standards are met.
• Evaluate participant performance through testing and skills assessments.
• Support curriculum enhancement and ongoing program improvement.
