The Role

The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management, sales activities, and customer service. This role involves collaborating with Acima retail partners to process credit applications, converting them into credit customers, reviewing lease applications, promoting leasing benefits, and driving sales conversions. The position is based in one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

The role is paid hourly, with potential bonuses or incentives based on performance, paid monthly. The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $19.00, plus potential bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
Sales/Account Management
  • Driving customer growth through various channels (web, partner stores, walk-ins)
  • Identifying and fulfilling customer needs promptly
  • Educating customers on Lease-To-Own terms, benefits, and application process
  • Converting applications into sales, including web and in-store orders
  • Collaborating with store partners and communicating with the Store Manager
Customer Service
  • Building partnerships with retail store personnel for referrals and education
  • Addressing and resolving customer issues promptly
  • Creating a positive work environment to retain coworkers
Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
  • Organized with good time-management skills and multitasking ability
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistent in-person attendance

Work Hours & Physical Demands

This is a full-time role, with varied hours including evenings and weekends. The job requires standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities throughout the day.
