Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Field & Laboratory Technician I-B in Harlingen, TX to support field and laboratory testing on construction materials. The role requires ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1 and ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certifications, with experience testing aggregates, concrete, soils, and related materials.

Qualifications

• Performs field and laboratory testing on construction materials including concrete, aggregates, and soils.
• Maintains testing equipment and documents results accurately.
• Demonstrates strong safety and quality commitment in line with ASTM/AASHTO/client specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete field testing (slump, air content, temp, cylinder fabrication).
• Perform aggregate testing per ACI, ASTM, AASHTO standards.
• Support laboratory operations with testing procedures (sieve analysis, moisture, specific gravity).
• Report test results clearly to project managers and clients.
• Travel locally to project sites as needed and lift up to 75 pounds.
