Castle Education seeks motivated Achievement Learning Support Assistants to work across schools in Scarborough. You will help pupils engage with learning, support literacy and numeracy, and work closely with teachers to monitor progress.

Flexible supply roles offer part-time, full-time or ad-hoc opportunities with weekly PAYE and holiday pay. Previous experience in education, SEN support, tutoring, childcare or care work is advantageous.

Castle Education are seeking motivated, patient and supportive Achievement Learning Support Assistants to work across schools in Scarborough.

The Role

As an Achievement Learning Support Assistant, you’ll help pupils engage with learning, develop their abilities and work towards their individual goals.

• Supporting pupils with classroom learning and daily activities
• Providing 1:1 assistance and small-group learning support
• Helping children develop literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Breaking learning activities into manageable steps
• Encouraging pupils to stay focused, motivated and engaged
• Helping children build confidence and celebrate their progress
• Supporting pupils who experience barriers to learning
• Adapting your approach to meet different learning styles and abilities
• Promoting independence, resilience and positive learning habits
• Working closely with teachers to support pupil progress and achievement

You’ll play a valuable role in helping pupils recognise their strengths, overcome difficulties and develop the skills they need to succeed.
