Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic interventional cardiologist to lead the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Section in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

The physician-leader will build a nationally recognized ACHD program with multidisciplinary collaborators, provide inpatient consults and outpatient care, and advance accreditation standards while expanding

Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified in cardiology.
Successful completion of a US-accredited Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship.
Successful completion of a US-accredited Adult Congenital Heart Disease fellowship.
Pediatric Cardiology fellowship is a plus but not mandatory.
Minimum of 5–10 years of clinical cardiology experience.
Eligible for an Ohio medical license.
Clinical or translational research experience preferred.
Qualified for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University; rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct the Adult Congenital Heart Disease program within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.
Develop a comprehensive ACHD program with dedicated clinicians and multidisciplinary collaborators.
Ensure continuity of care across the lifespan and support accreditation standards.
Expand access to specialized ACHD care and position OSU as a regional referral center.
