Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Wexner Medical Center seek an academic interventional cardiologist to lead the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Section in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. The physician-leader will build a comprehensive ACHD program with inpatient and outpatient services, multidisciplinary collaboration, and accreditation support.

Academic rank and track are commensurate with experience; 5–10 years of clinical cardiology and US training are preferred.

Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified in cardiovascular medicine.
Completion of US-accredited Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship.
Completion of US-accredited ACHD fellowship.
Completion of US-accredited Pediatric Cardiology fellowship a plus but not mandated.
Minimum 5–10 years of clinical cardiology experience.
Eligible for Ohio medical license.
Clinical or translational research experience preferred.
Qualify for academic appointment at The Ohio State University; rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Lead ACHD program and Section Director responsibilities.
Develop a comprehensive ACHD program with inpatient/outpatient services and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Ensure accreditation standards and expand access to specialized ACHD care.
Position the institution as a regional referral center for ACHD.
