The role supports research requests, verification of customer accounts, and processing adjustments, while ensuring compliance and high-quality service. The position offers a 40-hour workweek (Mon-Fri 8:00–4:30) with a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; an AssociatesDegree in related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of office-related experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a banking environment.
• Strong reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skills; excellent communication and data entry abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research and complete all ACH investigations.
• Research all ACH Reg. E's.
• Record all completed research using monthly spreadsheets and distribute to staff.
• Process research requests for photocopies, statements, IRA, 1099 statements, CD, ACH issues.
• Provide staff with listing of open research and a monthly breakdown of research.
• Assist with improper endorsements and altered checks; provide backup for ACH Research Clerk.
• Process monetary adjustments to customer accounts including GL tickets and back up documentation.
• Process verification of customer account balances including Social Security, Housing Agencies, and standard references.
• Process electronic asset verification requests from Social Security and Medicaid/Medicare.
• Maintain a daily, monthly and yearly log of verification requests.
• Cooperate with other department members to achieve goals and provide quality customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal controls.
