Niemann Foods is seeking an Ace Hardware Cashier to deliver friendly, efficient service at the register. You will greet customers, scan items, and process payments accurately while assisting shoppers with questions about products, promotions, and store locations.

Maintain a neat, organized checkout area and handle tender and coupons securely. A positive attitude, reliability, and basic math skills are essential for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job description

SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the Ace Hardware Cashier is to scan the customer’s selections, ensure that the prices and quantities are accurate, accept payment, issue receipts, answer inquiries, provide helpful information to customers about products, promotions, item location and some stocking. Cashiers also respond to complaints with genuine concern, assist the Store Director in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while working in a safe manner

• Performs fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures
