Niemann Foods is seeking an Ace Hardware Cashier to scan items, ensure pricing accuracy, accept payments, issue receipts, and answer customer inquiries. You will promote a positive store atmosphere and assist in customer service while following safety policies.

You will use the GUEST program, handle cash and coupons, and keep the checkout area clean and organized as part of daily duties.

SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the Ace Hardware Cashier is to scan the customer’s selections, ensure that the prices and quantities are accurate, accept payment, issue receipts, answer inquiries, provide helpful information to customers about products, promotions, item location and some stocking. Cashiers also respond to complaints with genuine concern, assist the Store Director in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while working in a safe manner

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction

• Performs fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures
