Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a patient care technician to support Advanced Acute Care Units in Danville, Bloomsburg, and Shamokin. You will assist with daily activities, vital signs, and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have strong attendance.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to perform ADLs and assist with patient care activities.
• Must meet orientation and long-term scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance: hygiene, mobility, meals.
• Monitor vital signs and daily weights; perform point-of-care testing.
• Turn, reposition, and dress patients; remove catheters/IVs as directed.
