The role partners with the Controller and other departments on budgeting, forecasting, and project-related financials, including grants and incentives for renewable energy projects. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced, mission-driven company.

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; 8:30am to 5pm with 30-minute lunch.

Maas Energy Works is the leading developer and operator of agricultural waste-to-energy systems in the United States. The Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas renewable energy generation systems, primarily on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable natural gas upgrading.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the company. This position plays a key leadership role in maintaining sound financial practices, optimizing accounting workflows, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a keen eye for process improvement, and a solid understanding of accounting practices relevant to renewable energy projects.
