Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services in Massachusetts seeks an ACCS Assistant Program Director to support the Program Director in delivering community-based mental health and substance use services across multiple sites.

You will provide essential clinical and administrative leadership while supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building partnerships with the MA Department of Mental Health to coordinate care for adults facing mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or a related field.
• Independent Clinical License is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, with preference for recovery-based community services.
• At least 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
• Builds strong working relationships with the MA Department of Mental Health and other stakeholders for seamless service coordination.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices (e.g., Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction).
• Ability to lead a team, provide supervision, and make effective decisions.
