Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2 years of accounting/fiscal experience, or 1 year at the Accounting Technician Trainee level or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience, PeopleSoft queries experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PeopleSoft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carefully reviews and posts customer payments by recording cash and check transactions.
• Alerts managers of discrepancies promptly.
• Prepares bank deposits.
• Investigates and resolves account discrepancies with banks and customers.
• Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable files and records.
• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from local deposits.
• Completes reconciliations within the required timeframe.
