Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services seeks an Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a contract in Brentwood, TN. Onsite training with a hybrid path after performance review. Lead a 4-person AR team and oversee cash application, collections and reconciliations across ERP systems, including Visual, NetSuite, and Sage.

DOE pay and strong Excel/leadership required. Responsibilities cover month-end close, coaching, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Accounting, Sales, Treasury, and IT.

Qualifications

• Strong cash application, collections, reconciliations, and accounting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Manufacturing, multi-state, or multi-brand experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a 4-person Accounts Receivable team.
• Oversee cash application, collections, customer onboarding, reconciliations, and account maintenance.
• Manage high-volume AR activity across multiple ERP systems, including Visual, NetSuite, and Sage.
• Review aging reports, collections, payment discrepancies, and reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end/quarter-end AR close and ensure timely cash application.
• Coach team members and ensure cross-training across ERP systems.
• Identify process improvements and maintain SOPs/documentation.
• Partner with Accounting, Sales, Treasury, Customer Service, Operations, and IT to resolve issues.
• Provide AR reporting and analysis to Accounting leadership.

Accounts Receivable Supervisor – Contract

• Location: Brentwood, TN
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Work Arrangement: Onsite training period; hybrid opportunity afterward based on performance
• Contract: August–October 2026 – maternity leave coverage
• Pay: DOE
• Team: Supervise 4 AR team members
• Interview: Teams video interview + onsite
• Screening: Background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Manufacturing, multi‑state, or multi‑brand experience preferred.
• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree a plus.
