As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Quick Med Claims, you will:

1. Make telephone calls to patients, hospitals, insurances, facilities, and attorneys as needed to research claims or obtain other insurance information.
2. Contact insurance carriers to inquire about the status of past due accounts.
3. Document details of activity on each account in the claims processing system.
4. Follow up on self-pay accounts.
5. Maintain workflow to keep aging accounts at a minimum by following up on unpaid claims daily.
6. Follow up on accounts that have reached collections to ensure they have been fully worked.
