What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contact assigned clients who are past due in payments and document conversations regarding their accounts
- Propose potential account write-offs based on collectability and prepare necessary documentation
- Collaborate with the Credit department on open or potential credit issues
- Handle inbound customer service calls and inquiries from vendors regarding accounts payable issues
- Process monthly/daily credit card charges for local and national media advertisers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 - 5 years of call center, collections, customer service, and/or sales experience
- Experience working in the media industry preferred
- Strong organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn collection software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Wide Orbit preferred
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a media-related environment
