Columbia Distributing is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support billing, payment application, and reconciliation processes in a office setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely invoicing, and collaborative problem solving with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years accounts receivable experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience and accounting software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate supplier billing invoices for depletions, promos, samples, and incentives.
• Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and supported by backup documentation.
• Post and apply electronic payments to customer accounts in the AR system.
• Review and validate monthly billing reports for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams.
• Maintain electronic filing systems for invoices and correspondence.
• Participate in process improvements for billing and AR functions.
• Document and maintain SOPs for key billing responsibilities.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Develop cooperative relationships with colleagues and departments.
