Job summary

Rakuten Rewards is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to own a portfolio of advertiser and agency accounts within the O2C team. You will drive collections, dispute resolution, and unapplied cash resolution while working with Oracle, Salesforce, and affiliate platforms.

You will help optimize cash flow, monitor aging, and provide actionable insights through data analysis. Strong Excel skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in accounts receivable, collections, or Order to Cash.
• Experience with agencies, advertisers, or affiliate marketing and related payout structures.
• Hands-on experience with AR/collections tooling (Oracle, Salesforce, Tesorio, Kolleno, HighRadius).
• Track record of managing a high-volume portfolio and meeting collections KPIs such as cash targets, DSO, and aging.
• Excellent written communication and ability to engage partners via email.

Responsibilities

• Administers AR process including billing, collections, and reporting to support financial health.
• Manages complex receivables workflows and guides team members to resolve escalated issues.
• Analyzes AR data, identifies trends, and suggests process improvements.
• Communicates with customers and internal teams to resolve balances and disputes.
• Develops reports and analyses on receivables for management insights.
• Performs monthly reconciliations and maintains documentation for audits.
• Implements AR process improvements and best practices; supports cash flow optimization.
• Maintains relationships with agency and affiliate partners to resolve payment issues.
• Supports cash application research and month-end close activities.
