Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency, additional/certification pertinent to job
• 1-5 years’ experience with business bookkeeping or accounting
• Basic Writing Computer/Data Entry skills
• Accepts additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Responsibilities

• Invoicing and adjustments.
• Accurately reconcile and post payments to customer accounts from checks, ACH transfers, credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Ensure proper allocation of customer payments to open invoices, ensuring accurate accounts receivable reporting.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers with outstanding balances, addressing any issues related to billing or payments.
• Prepare and issue customer statements, including reminders for overdue customer accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up with customers to collect overdue invoices in line with company policies.
