Job summary

Inchcape is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to support the Finance & Accounting team in maintaining accurate customer accounts, processing invoicing, collections, and cash applications. This role contributes to timely cash flow and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Service, and Operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with strong invoicing and payment processing experience, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting systems and

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Attention to detail with analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office; strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities: invoicing, payment application, reconciliations, and collections.
• Generate timely customer invoices, monitor balances, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile customer and intercompany accounts; coordinate resolutions with Sales, Service, and Operations teams.
• Process customer payments via check, ACH, credit card, and wire transfers.
• Prepare aging reports, cash forecasting support, month-end schedules, and assist with journal entries and close.
• Support audits, financial projects, and global accounts receivable processes; provide guidance to global services team.
