American Bankers Association (ABA) is seeking an Accountant, Accounts Receivable to support timely AR records in an AMS environment. You will apply diverse payments, manage credit card processing, and assist with reconciliation and VEBA accounting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and close collaboration with internal teams. Responsibilities include posting ACH/wire payments, maintaining AR logs, and handling journal entries for accurate month-end close.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 3–5 years of related accounting experience, including general ledger.
• Experience with high-volume transaction processing and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Familiarity with Nimble AMS, Workday and AMS/ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of GAAP principles.

Aufgaben

• Process receipts and apply payments in Nimble AMS and AMS workflows.
• Record and reconcile general ledger activity and post to Workday as needed.
• Maintain VEBA-related financial statements and audit schedules.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close.
