Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Council Bluffs, IA. You will manage a portfolio of customers, perform account maintenance, and resolve past-due balances while coordinating with sales and operations.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in Collections and Order to Cash, preferably in electrical distribution.
• NACM accreditation is a plus.
• Knowledge of tax laws for IL, IN, IA, PA, WI, MO, OH & KY is preferred.
• Demonstrated ethical standards and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Routinely use GetPaid to initiate customer communication based on workflow actions.
• Record customer communication and actions in GetPaid.
• Monitor aging and overdue balances; manage item resolutions with escalation when needed.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to review open items with customers.
• Ensure documentation for job account approvals and lien deadlines is maintained.
