Job summary

Cumming Group in Murrieta, CA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to monitor collections, analyze aging, and proactively contact delinquent clients to recover balances.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in collections or accounts receivable in the commercial building construction management sector, plus experience with Deltek or HighRadius and strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills. A degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working as a collections analyst or in an accounts receivable position
• Education: Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred; combination considered
• Experience in commercial building construction management industry is required

Responsibilities

• Analyze delinquent accounts and make collection calls/emails
• Review A/R aging reports to prioritize collections
• Monitor high-volume client portals for payments and invoice status
• Collaborate with Credit and Collections Manager on actions for challenging accounts
• Review contracts to understand payment terms and delays
• Assist in formulating collection policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned and attend work during normal hours
