Job summary

CME Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to safeguard financial precision and optimize liquidity across high-volume billing lines. You will drive timely collection of open balances and maintain accurate aging to support the company’s financial health.

You’ll engage with clients, resolve billing inquiries, and leverage Workday and automated cash application tools to streamline cash matching, reconciliation, and month-end close activities.

Qualifications

• B2B collections and commercial accounts receivable experience.
• Experience using Workday or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with automated cash application software.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for data organization and reconciliation.
• Clear, professional communication across clients and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage proactive collection efforts for assigned accounts to ensure timely settlement of open balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing inquiries, delays, and discrepancies through collaborative problem solving.
• Identify trends in delinquency and work with leadership to implement preventive solutions.
• Utilize ERP systems and cash application tools to streamline cash matching, reconciliation, and payment workflows.
• Produce aging analyses and reporting for internal stakeholders and financial leadership.
• Assist with month-end close activities and related financial projects with accuracy.
