VSS International, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the company’s receivables, ensure timely payments, and resolve billing discrepancies. The role requires strong analytical skills and clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Data processing using Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word; keyboarding speed and accuracy.
• Detail-oriented with ability to retain information.
• Minimum two years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable processes and ensure timely, accurate collections.
• Filing for VSSI & VSSE as needed and processing all credit applications.
• Set up new vendors and request W-9 forms.
• Log preliminary notice information for VSSI jobs into Tradition Software.
• Process VSSE daily invoices as needed and maintain job folders for private and public sub jobs.
• Enter preliminary information requests for VSSI and VSSE into NACM database.
• Back up daily deposits for VSSI and VSSE and scan deposits into bank systems.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere through professional communication with customers, vendors, coworkers, and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal to interact with internal and external drivers and customers.
• Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects utilizing organizational skills and communications skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to corporate goals.
• Must be capable of functioning under fast pace stressful working conditions.
• Data processing using windows, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, Microsoft word. Keyboarding speed and accuracy is a must
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to retain information
• Minimum two years Accounts Receivable experience
• Associate's degree (A.A.) in accounting or equivalent from two-year College and/or technical school and/or accounting certificate is preferred
