Job summary

Alliance Health Management Services is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our centralized billing team in Massachusetts. The role focuses on posting cash, handling billing and collections, and liaising with families and Medicaid consultants.

You will work with Excel and healthcare systems in a busy office setting. Pursuit of accuracy and strong communication are essential, with 3+ years in LTC billing preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Long Term inpatient SNF, LTACH or Hospice billing.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, SCOs, HMO/PPO/Medicare Advantage.
• Ability to operate in a centralized billing/collections environment.
• Experience with MatrixCare, MMIS, DDE, Inovalon is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a business office setting with families and other staff members.
• Liaison between families and Medicaid consultants.
• Post cash and handle all aspects of billing and collections.
• Maintain census records and PNA.
• Prepare monthly reports.
• Work in Excel.
• Utilize MatrixCare, MMIS, DDE, Inovalon systems as applicable.

Overview

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALISTS WANTED!!!! Alliance Health Management Services is looking for an energetic, reliable person to join the AR Team. We are willing to train the right candidate. Salary is based on experience: $55k - $80k. Health Insurance, vacation time, sick time and other benefits are available.

We have multiple locations across Massachusetts working in the Billing and Collections area. This will be a centralized position and therefore the position could be managed from one of the following locations:

• Southborough
• Wrentham
• Foxboro

Responsibilities

• Work in a business office setting with families and other staff members
• Liaison between families and Medicaid consultants

• Work in Excel
