Job summary

Penn Veterinary Supply is hiring a Credit Coordinator in Lancaster County, PA. The role focuses on processing, maintaining, and distributing credit information while delivering excellent service under the Penn Vet way.

Responsibilities include account setup, posting payments, credits, and returns, plus proactive customer communication. Requires 3–5 years bookkeeping/AR experience and strong communication skills. Hybrid schedule applies.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

A Credit Coordinator processes, maintains, and distributes credit information as appropriate while providing our customers with the best service done the Penn Vet way.

One (1) full-time position is available: Candidates must be available to work a hybrid schedule Monday through Wednesday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Thursday, 9:30am to 6:30pm and Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and maintain customer accounts.
• Post payments, process customer credits and returns.
• Work to keep customer accounts current – contact customers via email and phone.
• Respond to and answer customer questions providing excellent customer service
• Perform other tasks as requested by the Account Receivable Supervisor, Account Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager or Company President.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma.
• 3-5 years bookkeeping experience, accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Customer service driven and focused.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting daily and monthly goals.
• Ability to organize one’s own activities and manage multiple priorities independently while also working as an active member on a team.
• Strong attention to detail, well organized.
• Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office
• Experience with a multi-line telephone system preferred
