Job summary

Cadwell Industries, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team at our Kennewick, WA headquarters. You will manage daily cash collection communications, review invoices, and apply payments in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will also prepare monthly statements, contact customers regarding delinquent balances, and perform refunds research. A strong team player with confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in accounting or equivalent; three years of relevant experience may substitute education.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with numbers accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of daily cash collection communications.
  • Review invoices for accuracy.
  • Process customer payments and apply in ERP system.
  • Assist in preparation and distribution of monthly statements.
  • Communicate with customers on delinquent balances and arrange payments.
  • Conduct collection calls for product trade-ins, returns and service loaner devices.
  • Research and process customer refunds.

Job description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist assists with various phases of the accounts receivable process within the Finance department. This position is located at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of daily cash collection communication
  • Review invoices for accuracy
  • Process customer payments and apply in ERP system
  • Assist in preparation and distribution of monthly statements
  • Communicate with customers on delinquent account balances and arranges payments
  • Conduct collection calls for product trade-ins, returns and service loaner devices
  • Research and process customer refunds
  • Other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Education / Experience
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years relevant experience in lieu of education
Job Knowledge / Requirements
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team and can positively adapt to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate experience in Excel
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator
