Job description

ANDON Specialties, Inc. is searching for an Account Receivable Specialist to support the accounting department from our office in Houston, TX.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Responsibilities:

1. Own the A/R Cycle - Responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization
2. Generate and post accurate, timely invoices
3. Build professional rapport with customers to accelerate payment
4. Spot bottlenecks, document best practices, and help automate routine tasks
5. Support in the day-to-day operations of the Finance department
6. Research and resolve payment discrepancies
7. Work with internal and external customers
8. Deliver professional and ethical service

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochem industries
• Experience entering invoices into customer portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa)
• Experience with Prophet 21 (a plus)
• Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Prior team lead experience
