Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in East Brunswick, NJ to manage customer relationships, ensure timely collection of invoices, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AR and strong communication skills.

Experience with Netsuite is strongly preferred and fluency in Arabic and/or Spanish is a plus. The role requires independent work in a fast-paced finance team and may involve coordination with sales and logistics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Arabic and/or Spanish is a plus.
• Understanding of EDI required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Experience with Netsuite strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to facilitate collections and resolve any billing issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding outstanding invoices, payment terms, and account inquiries.
• Able to prioritize and handle heavy call volume.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis for management review.
• Manage and maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Generate customer invoices, manage credit limits, and work with customer service/logistics in the approval and release of orders.
• Process incoming payments, apply payments to appropriate accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and the creation/coding of credits.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and improve satisfaction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of processes to enhance collections and reduce overdue accounts.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations.
