Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our accounting operations with a focus on construction billing and collections. If you're experienced in AIA billing, lien waiver management, and have a working knowledge of Foundation or similar construction accounting software, this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly progress billings, including AIA documentation
• Manage customer contracts, track retainage, and process change orders
• Collect and organize lien waivers and required documentation for timely payment releases
• Follow up on past due accounts professionally and persistently
• Monitor AR aging reports and maintain timely communications with customers regarding outstanding balances
• Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate billing based on contract terms
• Maintain complete and organized AR records, billing files, and customer documentation
• Ensure all billings and collections comply with contract terms and submission deadlines
• Assist with month-end AR close processes, including reconciliations and reporting
• Enter data and generate reports using Foundation or similar construction accounting software

What You Bring

• 3+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably within the construction industry
• Proficiency in Foundation Software or similar construction-specific platforms
• Strong understanding of AIA billing processes, lien waivers, and standard contract terms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for customer interactions
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
