J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative I to ensure accurate invoicing for low-complexity accounts and resolve freight payment issues with customers.

You will manage payments, aging and billing inquiries, while building relationships with JB Hunt colleagues and external customers. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.

• Associates degree in Finance, Business Admin/Management, Transportation Logistics, or related field with 1–2 years experience.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn software quickly.

Responsabilités

• Accurate, timely invoicing and support for accounts with low complexity.
• Respond to inquiries/complaints re billing; identify root causes and solutions.
• Apply customer payments to outstanding invoices.
• Manage receivables: audit, balance dues, revenue adjustments.
• Obtain missing documentation to meet billing requirements.
• Contact customers for payment status and reduce AR aging.
• Set up automated aging reports and audit billed charges.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and contract changes.

Job Summary

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely invoicing.
• Network and build relationships with both JB Hunt employees and external customers by responding to inquiries and complaints regarding accessorial billing processes, notifications, billing issues, etc. and identify root cause and solutions to issues.
• Direct the application of customer payments to outstanding invoices.
• Manage receivables to include auditing, processing balance dues, and revenue adjustments.
• Obtain and investigate missing or incomplete documentation to meet customer billing requirements.
• Reach out to customer contacts for payment status.
• Reduce outstanding accounts receivables of assigned customers.
• Set up automated aging reports.
• Audit billed charges for validity.
• Work with internal teams to improve processes, discuss action plans, and/or contractual changes, and achieve organizational/department/team goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years combination of education, experience and training.

Preferred Qualification

• Associates degree in Finance, Business Administration/Management, Communication, Transportation Logistics, or related field with 1-2 years of experience

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
